We pride ourselves on our fun and energetic live performances with a set list that is full of rock / indie / punk with the occasional slowie for those smoochers out there
Joined the band 2002
Previously backing singer for Brassed Off which was the first band I played out with 20 years ago!! When we split up (due to musical differences lol) 3 of us formed Uninvited (the other 2 have since left)
Been passionate about music since I was a little girl - played guitar and keyboard while growing up but once I started singing at the Mill jam nights didn't want to stop!
Originally went to the jam nights to play guitar and have a go at bass but one day the singer stopped coming and my dad said I should have a go and the rest as history as they say lol!!
My inspirations growing up we're my mum and dad who's musical influences gave me a really eclectic taste - everything from Motown to Rock
Now my influences include Dave Grohl for pure rock presence, Chrissie Hynde for coolness and husky voice and Thom Yorke for feeling it!!
I love seeing any live acts - Dave (my husband and bezzie mate) and I try and get tickets for anything and everything we can!
Dave has also helped me to find different ways to enjoy and make music by teaching me to DJ which has opened my eyes to music production as well as how hard it is to beat match!!
So as you have probably gathered my hobbies / interests all revolve around music - watching it, listening to it, making it and playing it!
Oh and I do love a good glass of Pinot!!! But not on gig nights lol!!

I have been singing since primary school in the choirs and singing the tunes of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber's musicals, which are still my main passion
My inspirations and influences for my my singing came from Elaine Page & Barbara Streisand
I took singing lessons in Secondary school to better my vocal range at a time when I was involved in a production of Gilbert & Sullivan's Operetta 'Gondoliers'.
I taught myself how to play the organ and also had guitar lesson

My Mum and Dad inspired me to play music!
Used to go to my Dad's band practice when I was really young also my Mum was manager of a record shop.
Started out playing the drums then decided I wanted to try guitar and got one for my 13th birthday! Taught myself by learning the entire Greenday back catalogue!!
First band was me on guitar, my brother - bass, my dad - drums and a girl and her mum sang. We originally started so we could play at a new years eve party but carried on for a year or so.
Went to college to study music where I picked up on my drumming again and was in a couple of bands.
Joined Uninvited in after getting a text from Claire who is a friend of my Aunty Elaine's - turned up to audition having learnt most of their set and it just gelled!!
My musical Influences are Aerosmith, Greenday, John Butler, Frank Iero, Butch Walker and all the music I grew up listening to - Rolling Stones, Guns & Roses, Spin Doctors, REM, Radiohead, ...
